Monteverde Cloud Forest is an example of the vast biodiversity of Costa Rica. shelters countless wildlife species, tens of thousands of diverse insects. 2,500 species of plants (420 are strictly orchids), 400 varieties of birds, Over 100 types of mammals. Including jaguars, ocelots and the colorfully plumed resplendent quetzal. This tour will have you walking high on the air. Between hanging bridges, the countless plants, flowers and animals, you will have an unforgettable time exploring the amazing biodiversity of the area. All in the company of an experienced guide, a typical lunch and the best landscapes.




After picking you up in the near area, our journey towards the evergreen forest in the mountainous northwestern Costa Rica, will begin. Our treetop walkways will give you amazing views of the area.

This complex uses trails, as well as suspension bridges for a more tranquil introduction to the area. It starts with a walk on the ground taking you up in the air to explore the treetops, which we call the ‘Canopy’ with a naturalist guide.

After your walk through the Clouds, you can enjoy a guided walk inside the world’s largest live butterfly exhibition with an area over 29,000 square feet (2,700 square meters). This marvelous world of fluttering butterflies is an exquisite blend of nature’s colors and beauty.

Imagine over 100 hummingbirds flying around you! That is what the incredible Hummingbird Garden has to offer you. The garden is home to over 14 species of hummingbirds. They will amaze you with their incredible aerial maneuvers and vibrant colored feathers.

Of course an amazing lunch fill with Costa Rican flavors and colors, will be ready for you to be delighted. With our batteries full, we will start our drive back to Samara.
