Putting on a mermaid tail transforms your relationship with the underwater world. Experience the fun, creativity, and magic that comes with being a mermaid or merman.
We cater to first time mermaids and mermen, as well as merfolk looking for additional techniques to add to their repertoire.
The PADI Basic Mermaid Course is Part One to becoming a certified Mermaid. In this class, you'll learn how to use and care for mermaid equipment, learn to swim with a mermaid tail, practice basic mermaid safety, and begin to develop your mermaid breath holding skills.
Basic Mermaid students will complete the PADI Basic Mermaid eLearning ahead of their class session. After a review of the academic material, you'll head to the pool or pool-like open water site, where you'll practice the art of Mermaiding.
To take the PADI Basic Mermaid course, participants should be comfortable in the water and able to swim without swim aids. You must be at least 10 years old to take this course.
Cancellation & Rescheduling Policy
I understand and agree to the following policies:
Cancellation: Students who cancel up to 72 hours before the start of their course will receive a 50% refund of course fees. Students who cancel less than 72 hours before the start of the course will receive no refund.
Rescheduling: Students may reschedule their class for a $100 rescheduling fee, which will be processed each time a course or portion of a course is rescheduled.
Operator Cancelation: If the operator must cancel due to weather, poor water conditions, or other unforeseen circumstances, activities may be rescheduled to a new date for no fee, or canceled with a refund of all class fees less the cost of the eLearning and any training that has already been completed.
