Temples Tour

Experience the thrill of conquering rugged terrain and uncovering hidden treasures on our 4x4 off-road tour of the temples in Capitol Reef National Park. We will stop several times so that you can click a photo of such iconic places such as The Bentonite Hills, Jailhouse Rock, Gypsum Sinkhole, Queen of the Wash, Temple of the Sun and Moon and an unexpected geologic Secret. 

A knowledgeable, professional guide will drive you across the Fremont River and the twisting back-roads in a comfortable air conditioned and heated 4X4 SUV while talking with you about the amazing geology and history of the Capitol Reef area, a truly unique and beautiful experience. We’ll stop at Bentonite Hills and walk among the Martian landscapes for some incredible photo opportunities. If you have a drone this is the perfect place to use it. After the Bentonite Hills we can visit Jailhouse Rock at the Lower South Desert Overlook for a dramatic Capitol Reef viewpoint. At this point, its recommended to stop at the capitol reef campground and enjoy a meal. Let us know if we can assist you with box lunch options or take advantage of our onboard cooler to store your items. The second half of the trip is touring thru the incredible temples and middle desert. This trip is a minimum 6 hr. journey from beginning to end.
