**Kauai Mopeds, INC has a no cancellation/no refund policy.** Kauai Mopeds, Inc. has a NO CANCELLATION/NO REFUND policy. We rent mopeds rain or shine. Please make all considerations before submitting the reservation form. All riders MUST possess and present a valid Driver's and/or Motorcycle license AND meet all rental requirements for the vehicle. Absolutely NO refund will be provided. Refunds will not be provided for returning a vehicle early or if you do not show up for the reservation. We do not provide a refund for a product that is not received or delivered. No exceptions. Kauai Mopeds reservation and delivery times are based upon availability. We do NOT provide a refund and there is a re-booking fee of $45.00 for any changes required after a booking has been made. The re-booking fee only applies if the rental dates are available; if there are no available rentals we will not provide refunds for the original rental. Please be sure to have a valid driver’s license, and/or motorcycle license, AND credit card available at the time of delivery for verification. All riders MUST be able to operate a bicycle or a motorized two-wheeled vehicle. We do not provide a refund for a customer if they are unable to operate the moped after it is delivered. Kauai Mopeds Inc. provides liability insurance only, as required by Hawaii state law. Renter(s)are liable for all damage fees to the vehicle(s) during the rental period. Delivery of rentals may be delayed up to or longer than 2 hours due to unforeseen circumstances. We reserve the right to cancel any confirmed reservation. The credit card on file for the booking will be used to cover damage costs incurred by the Renters. The optional collision damage waiver covers collision damage and theft of the vehicle. $59.95 – Basic (Deductible $595.00) Applicable to Mopeds Only $99.95 – HI Special (Deductible $195.00) Damage Waiver. If you purchase the waiver, we waiver our right to collect from you a portion of physical damage to the vehicle. We will not waive this right if damage to the vehicle: a) is caused by anyone who is not an Authorized Driver, or by anyone whose driving license is suspended in any jurisdiction; b) is caused by anyone under the influence of any drug or alcohol; c) is caused by anyone who obtained the vehicle or extended the rental period by giving false, fraudulent or misleading information; d) occurs while the vehicle is used during the commission of any crime, other than a minor traffic violation; e) occurs while carrying persons or property for hire, while pushing or towing anything, during any race, speed test or contest, or, while teaching anyone to drive; f) results from carrying dangerous or hazardous items or illegal material; g) results from use of the vehicle outside the geographic limitations described in this agreement; g) is caused by driving on unpaved roads; h) occurs while transporting children without approved safety seats as required by law; i) occurs when the odometer has been tampered with or disconnected; j) occurs when the vehicle’s fluid levels are low, or it is otherwise reasonable to expect you to know that further operation would damage the vehicle; k) is caused by inadequately secured cargo; l) is caused, where applicable, by anyone who lack experience operating a manual transmission; n) results from your willful, wanton or reckless act or misconduct; and, m) occurs and you fail to notify us and the police of any accident or vandalism involving the vehicle.
