Wakeboarding & Waterskiing at Aruba Watersports Center

Overview

Feel the exhilaration of skimming across the Caribbean’s glassy surface behind a powerful speedboat. Whether you prefer the smooth glide of waterskiing or the thrill and tricks of wakeboarding, Aruba Watersports Center delivers a rush of excitement with safety, instruction, and fun. 

What You’ll Experience

A 20-minute session of either wakeboarding or waterskiing. 
Instruction and assistance included: if you’re a beginner, the staff will guide you on technique, getting up, and maintaining balance. 
Use of all necessary gear: board or skis, life jacket, tow rope, etc. 
You can choose your style:
 • Waterskiing — glide over the water with skis, enjoying a smooth, balanced ride. 
 • Wakeboarding — ride the board, perform turns, jumps, or tricks using the wake from the boat. 
The experience is suitable for both first-timers and more experienced riders. 
Each ride is weather-dependent; organizers reserve the right to postpone or cancel in unsafe conditions. 

Safety & Requirements

• Life jacket is required for all participants.
• Participants should have good swimming ability.
• Maximum weight limit: about 250 lbs (113 kg).
• Younger riders or those new to the sport may need extra assistance.
• Participants with medical conditions (back problems, heart issues, etc.) should consult in advance.

Booking & Logistics

The meeting point is at the Aruba Watersports Center (located between the Hilton and Barcelo hotels along Palm Beach). 
Arrive a bit early for briefing, gear fitting, and safety instruction.
Friends or family may accompany you on the boat to take photos or videos (from a safe vantage). 

Optional Add-ons / Tips

• Ask the crew for tips or tricks once you're comfortable.
• Bring water, sunscreen, sunglasses (with strap), and a towel.
• Wear swimwear or clothing you don’t mind getting wet.
