Let us whisk you out of the city and head down the Columbia Gorge National Scenic Byway to some of the most majestic views the Pacific Northwest has to offer.
Your guide will tell you all about the geological history of the Gorge, how it was formed and then became an important part of the Lewis and Clark Expedition. Very interesting.
Get out for some fresh air, stretch your legs, and get ready for an amazing afternoon among the trees, rocks, waterfalls, and a few more surprises tucked away in the Columbia Gorge.
Don’t forget your camera!
On our Waterfalls and Wine tour your first stop is the The Crown Point Vista House. Built on the edge a bluff this location offers the most expansive view of the Columbia River east and west.
Next stop La Tourelle Falls and on to  the world famous Multnomah Falls, the 2nd highest continually flowing waterfall in the United States.
From there you will continue to the Columbia Gorge Wine Region for a little wine tasting. The elevation and climate make this an ideal location for growing Rhone, Bordeaux and a few Italian varietals. The vineyards and wineries are up in the mountains surrounded by acres and acres of orchards, mostly pears, cherries and apples. On the way back to Portland (time allowing) we can tour the Bonneville Dam, observe the salmon swimming up the fish ladders and go say hello to Herman, the 85 year old Sturgeon at the fish hatchery.

It will most assuredly be a day to remember.
All tours are private ensuring an intimate, personal experience.
This tour is always subject to weather, snow and ice conditions.
