Gulf of Mexico Florida State Waters (<9 miles)
La description
This trip is designed for gulf fishing. You will leave the Destin Pass for nearshore state waters to target Red Snapper, Grouper, Amberjack, Cobia, Spanish Mackerel, King Mackerel, Mahi, and more!
Use the best medium and heavy tackle built by Penn. You never lose sight of the shoreline while fishing in 65 feet to 120 feet of water. Captain Rob can accommodate up to six anglers, although four is optimal.
Each fish is handled gently for photos and release. Some species may be kept depending on the season.

- There is some shade under the T-Top, but I suggest wearing a hat, long-sleeve shirt, and shoes.
- Eye protection is highly recommended.
- Please do not wear cologne, perfumes, or body sprays as your captain is allergic.
- There is minimal space onboard. Please leave large coolers in your vehicle.
- Hydration and sun-protection prevents injury.
- Please apply sunblock prior to boarding. The chemicals in sprays will kill the bait fish and makes the deck very slippery. Only reapply lotion-based sunblocks during your trip.
- Sea-sickness can be prevented with supplements or OTC medicine several hours in advance.
- Payment options for any remaining balance are: Cash (preferred), Apple Pay, Venmo, Zelle, and Check. I do not have a credit card reader.

Red Snapper 2024 Season
Red Snapper
Red snapper season is my near-shore angler’s favorite. It’s an easy way to fill the cooler up for one of our “catch-&-cook” restaurants. These fish are delicious and solid fighters.
The 2024 regular season is June 1 - July 31. The season will reopen in the fall for 3-day weekends (Friday – Sunday) from Sept. 1 – Nov. 30. Harvest will also be allowed Labor Day (Sept. 2), Veterans Day (Nov. 11) and Thanksgiving Day (Nov. 28).
Smoking, Vaping, and Alcohol use
Smoking and Vaping are prohibited aboard "Dress Blues".
Anglers may have a few drinks long as they do not become a safety risk.
