Come join us for a trip to one of Charleston's best locations for finding shark teeth and other fossils!
We'll meet at the public dock located at the end of the boardwalk in the Shem Creek Park. From there, we'll depart on a 10 minute boat ride to Crab Bank. Crab Bank is a small dredge island located at the mouth of Shem Creek in Charleston Harbor. From October 16th through March 14th the island is open to visitors and is regarded as one of the most productive fossil hunting grounds in the area due to the large amount of dredge material it is made up of.
All trips to Crab Bank are 4 hours in duration. This includes travel time to and from the island.

Parking and Meet-Up Point
Park in the lot designated for visitors to the Shem Creek Park. Take the boardwalk to the public dock on Shem Creek. We will be waiting at the dock for you.
Trip Cancellation Policy
All trip cancellations made up until 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time will be refunded in full less a 5% cancellation fee. If a trip is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time, the purchaser will be refunded 50% of the purchase price less a 5% cancellation fee based on original purchase price.
All weather-related cancellations will be refunded in full.
