First Stop: The Sapona Wreck
One of Bimini’s most famous dive sites, the Wreck of the Sapona is steeped in island history. After running aground during the Great Hurricane of 1926, the Sapona became a storage site for illegal rum during Prohibition. Situated in the legendary Devil’s (Bermuda) Triangle, it’s even tied to the mystery of missing Flight 19, featured in a James Bond novel, and once used for U.S. military training exercises. Today, it’s an incredible artificial reef, home to colorful coral and tropical fish.
Second Stop: Triangle Rocks – Reef Shark Safari
Next up, Triangle Rocks, home to our Reef Shark Safari. Here, divers safely observe Caribbean Reef Sharks and often Blacknose Sharks in a controlled, comfortable environment. It’s an exhilarating and educational shark encounter you won’t forget!
