Join me for a family friendly guided hike in and along Sulphur Creek through narrow deep canyons and waterfalls, similar to Zions Narrows hike with far fewer people (often we have it all to ourselves)! Sulphur Creek is a shallow desert stream that cuts through the oldest layers of Capitol Reef National Park which makes for some unique, stunning scenery and photo opportunities, definitely a hike you’re going to want to tell your friends about. A guide will help you navigate the some of the obstacles and routes while talking about the geology and history of the area. This will be a very memorable experience for you and your family and maybe the most fun hike you’ve ever done! You’ll spend most of the hike walking in the water, stopping to enjoy shallow pools, waterfalls or dramatic scenes. This is a great late spring, summer and early autumn hike and a way to beat the heat. There are a few spots we safely scramble down with the aid of a guide. Along the way we may encounter a couple of pools where the water is chest deep, this can fluctuate throughout the season but do come prepared to get wet and have fun!

We take your credit card information at the time of the reservation to uphold the cancellation policy. We are a small company and turn away others to hold the space for you. We reserve the space for you and you in turn agree to pay for the tour. There will be no charge if we are advised of the cancellation at least eight days prior to the trip, as we are generally able to resell your space to others.
Within 7 days of the trip: We will make our best effort to resell your space to others, however, if we’re unable to do so, you will be charged as though you are on the tour. This includes canceling for last minute medical emergencies.
If you do not show up on the day of your tour: Because we turn away others to hold the space for you and guides are prearranged based on your being on the trip, these costs cannot be recouped and therefore, you will be charged as though you are on the tour. This includes canceling for last minute medical emergencies.
