Welcome to The Factory! Join our staff historian on a stroll through The Factory's halls and learn about our industrial past, the people who worked here, and the products they made, as well as how a former stove works turned bedding manufacturing plant came to be one of Franklin's favorite landmarks. We'll cover 94 years of history in 50 minutes while showing you some of the shops, restaurants, and events you can enjoy today!
This tour will split time between indoor and outdoor stops and will take place rain or shine. We advise you to wear comfortable walking shoes and dress accordingly for the weather. Tours take place twice a month May - October. Holiday dates will be announced in the Fall!
Please arrive 15 minutes early to check in with your guide at The Skylight, located just inside the front entrance in The Grand Hall.

The Details:
Meeting Place: We'll meet in front of The Skylight, just inside the main entrance to The Factory. Please arrive before your tour for check-in.
Parking: We recommend entering via Franklin Road and parking in our west lot near the water tower.
Walking & Weather: We'll be walking and talking for about 50 minutes (5 minutes walking at a time at most), and we will spend brief portions of the tour outside (under cover, where possible!), so please dress accordingly!
