Update: As of 4/7/22, all of our Critter Camp sessions are booked full for the season. We do have a waiting list. Please email education@redriverzoo.org to speak to our Education team to be placed on the waiting list.
The 2022 Summer Day Camps at the Red River Zoo are week-long experiences where children will participate in various activities throughout the zoo. Participants may take part in outdoor adventures, creating crafts, playing animal-themed games, experiencing animal encounters, and more. Coordinated and led by the Education Department, children are sure to have an active, safe, and fun experience. Each respective camp session has a different theme that the children will explore throughout the week. Join us to discover animals and their habitats while having a wild time at the Red River Zoo!
Critter Camp (Ages 4-6)
Sessions run in the morning from 10 a.m.- 12 p.m. OR in the afternoon from 2 p.m.- 4 p.m.
1 hour early drop off option is available upon request.

Camp Themes & Dates
Into the Outdoors
June 6th- June 10th
North Dakota is home to some amazing plants and animals and in this camp, we are going to explore some of the things we can see here in our own backyards, but also throughout our state.
Colors of the Animal Kingdom
June 27th- July 1st
Animals come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. This week's camp will explore all of the beautiful colors of animals and why they are the color they are.
Pandamonium! Exploring Red Pandas
August 1st-5th
Red Pandas are incredibly interesting animals, and during this camp, we are going to learn all about them, while also crafting pieces to become red pandas.
