Spice Farm Visit, Waterfalls, and Cultural Lunch

Rainforest Spice Farm Visit with Waterfall Exploration and Cultural Lunch

Location

Manuel Antonio, Costa Rica

Description

This is an excellent opportunity to learn fascinating facts about organically grown rainforest spices on a family-run farm in a rural community just outside of Quepos. This unique experience is informative, completely hands-on, and includes a special visit to a viewpoint where you will taste the rainforest flavors with delicious homemade treats highlighting spices that grow on the farm. Pass by the spice shop to take some goodies home with you. Later, we will head 2 miles up the road into the next village for a refreshing dip in a waterfall that flows from the rainforest into the Naranjo River. Relax and splash around until it is time to walk up to Doña Luz’s home for an interactive experience learning how to make homemade tortillas and enjoying a very authentic lunch cooked over a wood-burning stove.
