Embark on a guided fossil hunt and discover the hidden treasures of our barrier islands. Captain Billy will lead you in a search for marine fossils, including shark teeth, vertebrae, bones and, occasionally, Native American artifacts. This trip offers a unique and educational experience for all ages. Don't miss this chance to explore and learn about the history of our barrier islands.

Additional Information
Fossil Excursions require 5-6 miles of walking. These trips are not wheelchair accessible, and it's not recommended for people with mobility issues.
This trip is also not recommended for very young children (infants & toddlers). You are welcome to bring them, but please provide life jackets for them. While child PFDs are provided, they do not fit very young children very well.
Trip Cancellation Policy
All trip cancellations made up until 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time will be refunded in full less a 5% cancellation fee. If a trip is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time, the purchaser will be refunded 50% of the purchase price less a 5% cancellation fee based on original purchase price.
All weather-related cancellations will be refunded in full.
