Description
Stroll the beach surrounding historic Morris Island in search of shells, fossils and shark teeth.
We'll start out from the Folly River boat ramp. From there we'll make our way through the river and series of salt marsh creeks toward historic Morris Island. Along the way we'll encounter dolphins and other wildlife. We'll beach the boat at Morris Island and you'll have plenty of time to explore the island a bit in search of shells, fossils, and shark teeth! You'll also be treated to up close views of the historic Morris Island Lighthouse! The lighthouse has stood since 1876 and is a historic landmark. We'll end our excursion back at the Folly River boat ramp.
Additional Information
These trips are not wheelchair accessible and it's recommended that people with mobility issues not book.
People bringing very young children need to provide their own life jacket as the PFDs provided are not suitable for infants and toddlers.
Trip Cancellation Policy
All trip cancellations made up until 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure time will be refunded in full less a 5% cancellation fee. If a trip is cancelled within 24 hours of the scheduled departure time, the purchaser will be refunded 50% of the purchase price less a 5% cancellation fee based on original purchase price.
All weather-related cancellations will be refunded in full.
