Your scuba certification never expires; but if you haven't been diving in a while, it's better to be over-prepared than risk a problem because you forget something important. Scuba diving is an amazing activity but it can contain some risks that are easily avoidable when your skills are fresh in mind. 

A refresher is a programme where divers receive the assistance and supervision of a dive professional in a pool or shallow water environment while they review the basic skills of diving. It also include a thorough review of equipment usage. 

If you haven't dive in more than a year we strongly suggest a scuba refresher.
