We're thrilled to see you, and what better way to earn your PADI Open Water certification than on the world-famous reefs of Cozumel, one of the world's top dive destinations. So come in, grab a seat, and have fun getting your qualifications. Our instructors are super friendly, extremely patient, and happy to help in any way they can. 

All our PADI Open Water courses include:

  • PADI E-Learning
  • All required equipment
  • One 2-tank boat dive for Open Water Dives 3 & 4
  • Divers Alert Network (DAN) Student Insurance


What is Included

Our price includes:

  • PADI e-Learning.
  • Training.
  • All required equipment, including a dive computer.
  • One 2-Tank Boat Dive for Open Water Dives 3 & 4
  •  DAN Student Membership for the duration of your course.

Once you sign up for your PADI Open Water Course, Cozumel Dive Academy will email you your PADI eLearning course.  Once you receive the link for your e-learning, you can begin the knowledge development portion immediately.

For multiple family members enrolling, each student will need their own email address to send the code.


To enroll in a PADI Open Water Diver course (or Junior Open Water Diver course), you must be ten years old or older. You need adequate swimming skills and need to be in good physical health. 

All participants will be required to complete the PADI Medical Statement. Should you have a "YES" answer to any of the questions, you will be required to obtain Physician's approval before any in-water activities.

There are a couple of additional requirements for children 10-11 years old. In addition to the above, each participant and their legal guardian must:

PADI Scuba Course Cancellation

PADI eLearning fees are non-refundable once the student has registered with PADI. If you have not registered your eLearning code at the time of cancellation, we will issue you a full refund of your deposit. Once the course has started, we cannot issue a refund.

The eLearning and online manual become yours once registered and can be used in the future at any PADI Dive Center to complete your training.
