Grundy County Historical Society, 510 W. Illinois Ave, Morris, IL 60450
Description
Agricultural expert Brianna Gibson will speak as part of our new Ag Lecture Series at the Grundy County Historical Society Museum (510 W Illinois Ave, Morris). Genetically Modified Organisms or GMOs have been prevalent since the early 1990s. Through her presentation, you'll discover what GMOs are, their history, how this form of plant hybridization is used in modern agriculture and the potential benefits a world in need of more food could "reap."
Brought to you by the Canal Corridor Association, Grundy County Historical Society and Donna Theimer.
