This is to be completed prior to the date of the hike by anyone participating in the hike. If this form is not completed prior to the start of the adventure, those who have not completed the form will not be able to participate in the activity and will not be refunded.

Clothing: Check with your guide about specific questions or items to bring, but generally speaking, it is recommended that you bring good hiking boots or athletic shoes with good traction, a jacket, athletic bottoms, a backpack, plenty of water (approximately 2 liters per person), snacks, and a positive attitude.

Elevation: Elevation can affect everyone differently, however, there are a few things that you can do to prevent altitude sickness. Drink lots of water, get a good night's rest the night before, and avoid alcohol.

Weather: Weather can change unexpectedly and if a guide decides that the weather is not suitable for continuing an activity, clients are expected to follow the guide's instructions regardless of the distance to completion, client's experience/ knowledge, and/or other variables that would put clients at risk of unsafe weather conditions. Guides will do their best to satisfy clients, but if the trip is not completed due to safety or weather conditions, clients will not be refunded. This is meant to be a learning opportunity for clients and not a means to sell our client's experience short.

Our Flex Plan is how we're trying to make booking guided outdoor activities more affordable. You pay 25% of total cost at checkout and then we charge the card on file 25% every 2 weeks for the next 6 weeks. This breaks up payment, follows a simple two-week schedule, and allows you to book and explore now, pay later.

These funds are used to support local non-profits whose work involves environmental advocacy, mental health, outdoor access, and/or environmental justice. At the end of the year, our guides decide what local organization receives these funds to help us build a better community and support those who we feel would benefit from it most. This is also a great way for both locals and visitors to give back to the places they visit. Some organizations we've donated to in the past include NAACP LDF, Colorado Trout Unlimited, The Lockwood Foundation, Big City Mountaineers, and Adaptive Sports Center of Crested Butte.

I also offer the rental of items from brands like Patagonia, Osprey, and Hestra that have been lightly used like backpacks, gloves, jackets, and microspikes. Contact me if you have questions.

You'll have the option to add rental items at checkout if you would like to rent some gear. If you choose to do so, please contact me letting me know what sizes you'd like. I'd recommend reaching out beforehand to make sure your size is available. This is to help save you money, try out gear, and reduce waste!

Customers will receive a full refund or credit with 48 hours notice of cancellation. If a customer cancels within 24 hours in advance of adventure, customers will receive 50% refund. If customer cancels their booking less than twenty-four (24) hours in advance of the start time, customer may (or may not) receive a refund, this will be at Guide's sole and absolute discretion. Guide shall consider any explanation given by customer for the cancellation. No-shows will be charged the full price.
