Entering the Mayan zone and already in the state of Yucatán, we will arrive at another fantastic and important archaeological zone, ek balam, a place that will make you feel the energy that its beautiful architectures keep, a beautiful flora where you can enjoy large ceibas, trees of great importance in the life of the Mayans and you will be able to reach the top of one of the pyramids and enjoy a wonderful view. After this visit to the bowels of the ancient Maya we will go to the city of Valladolid, third in importance in the state of Yucatan, there we will go to the center, we will visit the cathedral church after the conquest of Mexico, we will have time to walk in this typical place where we will find handicrafts and among other things the traditional guayaberas, its typical hammocks and its delicious piggy bank.

Valladolid is a city on the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico. Its colonial buildings include the 16th-century Convent of San Bernardino de Siena, with an ornate wooden altarpiece, and the Baroque-style Cathedral of San Gervasio. Casa de los Venados has Mexican folk art and furnishings. Cenote Zací is a sinkhole with stalactites. The underground cenotes of Samulá and X'Kekén lie to the southwest. Further west is the Mayan site Chichén Itzá

Ekʼ Balam ek-bælæm is a Yucatec Maya archaeological site within the municipality of Temozón, Yucatán, Mexico. It is located in the northern Maya lowlands, 25 kilometers (16 miles) north of Valladolid and 56 kilometers (35 miles) northeast of Chichén Itzá. From the Preclassic to the Postclassic, it was the seat of a Mayan kingdom. The site is notable for the preservation of plaster in the tomb of Ukit Kan Lek Tokʼ, a king buried in the side of the largest pyramid.
