Astoria Area Waterfront Tour # 1

Description

Come aboard the Arrow No.2 of Astoria for a waterfront tour.

Tour length is 2.5-3.0hrs, 20 nautical miles. The Arrow No. 2 is limited to 6 paying passengers per trip due to federal regulations as the Arrow was originally constructed as a Pilot Vessel and not a passenger vessel. 

$150 per person, $100 per child (12 years and under).

During this tour you will see: Astoria Waterfront, Astoria Megler Bridge, Port of Astoria, Ship Anchorage, Tongue Point, Cathlamet Bay, Former WWII Astoria Naval Reserve, John Day River Railroad Trestle, Upper John Day River, and John Day River Floating Homes. Mostly protected inland waters.

All trips aboard the Arrow No. 2 include a brief history of the boat, an engine room tour, head (bathroom) instructions, and a safety briefing. 

All children ages 12 years and under are required to wear life jackets while on deck. Life jackets are provided for all passengers. 

Alcohol and food are permitted, but not provided. Water and soda are provided.
