On Saturday, October 8, noted park ranger and Fort Zachary Taylor expert Ed Cunningham will lead a historically illuminating morning seafaring excursion presented by Key West Art & Historical Society departing from the dock at 0 Margaret Street on the S/V Argo Navis at 9:00 a.m. and returning at 11:00 a.m.

Passengers will enjoy Bloody Marys, mimosas or non-alcoholic beverages along with a variety of pastries as Ranger Ed shares the back-story on the importance and construction of the Civil War-era Fort Zachary Taylor as well as relevance of the building through today.

Health and Safety

At Hindu Charters health and safety of our customers and crew is paramount. That's why we take the following precautions on every public sail:

 

  • Our crew remains vigilant about cleanliness and sanitation. All our staff is Covid vaccinated and has had boosters.
  • If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your sunset or brunch sail without penalty.
  • Our 2,800 square feet of floating space helps ensure you'll be able to have the space you need. We are licensed to carry 91 passengers and we sail with no more than 40-45.
  • Crew wears gloves during food prep and distribution.
  • Crew will hand pass appetizers further assuring less contact. 
  • Wear a mask if it makes you feel more at ease.


     

 

Important Disclaimer: An inherent risk of exposure to covid-19 exists in any public place where people are present. Covid is an extremely contagious. By sailing with Hindu Charters on the SV Argo Navis, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to covid-19. You further acknowledge by purchasing a ticket you and your entire party agree to abide by any local, state or federal orders as well as any directions provided by the Captain and Crew for your safety and all passengers.

Default Cancellation Policy

Missing the Boat: You MUST be on the dock 15 minutes prior to your scheduled departure time for check in and safety briefing. Much like an airplane, the gang plank is pulled precisely at the departure time and further boarding is impossible. Guests who are late (even a minute) will miss the boat. Unfortunately, no refund can be given however we will do our best to accommodate you on another date if at all possible. 

Requesting A Refund: For all tickets purchased for sails open to the public, we require 48 hours notice in order to issue a full refund which will be made back to the credit card used to secure the reservation. With less than 48 hours but prior to 3 hours notice, your ticket may be used toward another date, pending availability, within one week. Less than 3 hours or no notice, no refund or credit will be extended.

Weather: Cancellation due to weather is up to the Captain's discretion. Twenty minutes before the sail the captain will make the call.

Sail Minimums: We will sail with 6 attending passengers, but not less, and will reschedule if possible, or refund in full, passengers who have purchased tickets for sails that do not have the required minimum.
