📍 Route Logistics
Parking (The End): Park your vehicle at Jefferson Springs Recreation Area.
Shuttle (The Start): We will shuttle you from the parking area to the West Fork Boat Ramp to begin your float.
The Paddle: You will navigate from West Fork back to your vehicle at Jefferson Springs.
⏱️ Timing & Pricing
Duration: Most paddlers finish in 2 to 2.5 hours.
Rental Limit: Standard rentals are for up to 4 hours.
Full Day Use: If you’d like to stay out longer, please notify us in advance for adjusted pricing.
Confirmation: Please read your confirmation email in full for essential pricing and safety details.
⚠️ Important: Kayak Return
When you finish your trip at Jefferson Springs, DO NOT leave kayaks on the boat ramp. > Drop-off Point: If a staff member is not present, please leave your kayaks in the grassy area just past the boat ramp, ensuring they are out of the way of other boaters.

This is a Still Water Float with no current, making it ideal for exploring at your own pace.
Scenery: Enjoy miles of river, "cave-like" rock formations, and flooded timber.
Activities: Plenty of spots for swimming, sunbathing, or fishing.
Skill Levels: We offer shallow areas for beginners and deep-water sections for experienced paddlers.
Amenities: Restrooms are available at the Jefferson Springs Recreation Area.
Lunch: There is nearly half a mile of shallow shoreline on the "Rec" side—perfect for a bank-side lunch.
STONES RIVER KAYAKING CANCELLATION POLICY
We maintain a simple and fair cancellation policy to ensure all guests have the best experience on the water and our schedule runs smoothly. Cancellations made at least 24 hours in advance of your scheduled launch time are eligible for a full refund or may be rescheduled for a later date within the same season. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your launch time are non-refundable. In the event that Stones River Kayaking cancels a trip due to unsafe weather or river conditions, guests will receive a full refund or the option to reschedule. Please note that light rain or overcast conditions do not qualify as unsafe weather, and trips will continue as scheduled without refunds. Guests are required to arrive at least 15 minutes prior to their scheduled launch time. Late arrivals may miss their launch and may be moved to the next available time if space allows. No refunds will be issued for missed trips or no-shows. For group bookings of six or more participants, a minimum of 48 hours’ notice is required for cancellations. Group cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled launch time are non-refundable. Rescheduling is permitted one time with at least 24 hours’ notice and must be used within the same operating season.
