Meet at Carey Dive Center
The course starts by watching an informative video which explains everything you need to know to start your scuba diving adventure. A qualified PADI instructor will then introduce you to your scuba diving equipment and explain how to use it. Then you will complete your first dive in shallow water where you will learn the basic skills of breathing underwater, controlling your buoyancy and swimming underwater, as well as important safety skills. Then the real fun starts when you go out on one of our boats to the local shallow coral reefs to try your first dive of up to 40ft in depth. You can choose to go to either MUSA (Underwater Museum), Manchones Reef or Atlantis. Here you will be able to see turtles, lobsters, barracuda and lots of other Caribbean sea life. After the course you can choose to continue your scuba diver training by taking the PADI Open Water Diver Course in the future!
Includes: Rental gear, tanks and weights, bottle of water, National Marine park fee.
