Our most popular itinerary is our Private Sunset Sail. We set our departure point at the most premier location in all the Virgin Islands to witness the natural beauty of the Caribbean Sunset. This 2.5 to 3 hour (depending on season) is a relaxed sail which offers the best setting for our guests to enjoy the sun setting over the mountains of St. Thomas and the Cotton Candy Skies above St John. Your crew will show you calm seas during this smooth sail through the national park with breathtaking views of surrounding cays.

The 12 minute fast ferry from departs from Redhook (on the east end of St. Thomas) and arrives in Cruz Bay (west end of St. John). These commuter ferries service both locations every hour on the hour. We recommend our guests explore Love City at least once during their visit to the islands. Arrive earlier in the day to explore Cruz Bay or ride the 4:00 PM ferry and meet your crew directly as your exit the ferry terminal (50 feet walk). Your crew will greet on the beautiful, white sugar sand beach . Our barefoot beach boarding process is very comfortable. Our inflatable tender (dinghy) rests in soft, gradually sloped sand. Our safe boarding and launch are very casual and comfortable.

Our all inclusive, VERY OPEN, bar includes adult beverages and not alcoholic beverages as including juice, soda, water, beer, sparkling wine, and two signature drinks. De’ Lime in De’ Coconut and the Pirates Pain Killer are delicious and made on board with our modified recipes. Also, snacks and light fare are available during the entire cruise.

Our relaxed itinerary and this optimized schedule allows for our day sail to finish back on our calm anchorage in either St. Thomas or St. John.

Start time for the sunset sail is 4:15 pm (will be confirmed after purchase). Duration for this adventure varies by season and the schedule is designed to conclude at sunset (typically between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm based on the seasonal changes of the sunset). If you would like different times please request on next step of booking.

Reservation is subject to confirmation within 24 hours. If preferred date is not available you will have the option to re-schedule, maintain credit to Morning Star Charters, or receive full refund.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations inside of 1 month of the designated charter date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee to be placed on the credit card submitted for authorization. Cancellations/Refunds inside of 1 week are unlikely and the credit card submitted for authorization may be charged the full amount. If your captain cancels for any reason you will receive a full (100%) refund.***

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations 7 days or more will receive a full refund minus (-) processing fees. Cancellations inside of 1 week of the designated charter date are subject to a 50% cancellation fee to be placed on the credit card submitted for authorization. Cancellations/Refunds inside of 48 hours are unlikely and the credit card submitted for authorization may be charged the full amount. If your captain cancels for any reason you will receive a full (100%) refund.
